Drawing & Painting
Artists explore charcoal, chalk and oil pastel, watercolour, acrylic, and other mixed mediums. Drawing and painting are our most popular mediums! We can adapt any project to your group size and age! We also offer a variety of artist based lessons where we combine art history and artmaking influenced by some of our favourite Masters!
Artists explore textures, tools, and different mediums while learning to create patterns and textual surfaces using a variety of printmaking methods. These workshops combine the historical method of printmaking through etching and engraving, and modern methods of mixed media art making! This process is capable of producing multiples of the same piece, with each final product looking unique from the other.
Paper projects include a variety of mediums and involves techniques such as collage, painting, drawing and even printmaking! Paper projects are the most accessible and easily adapted to any age group. During paper projects we will explore a variety of textures, colours, forms and techniques while tearing, folding, gluing, cutting and repurposing paper into something new!
